Beach expedition with Naturalis

Friday, May 22 is World Biodiversity Day.

The starting point for this ‘expedition’ is De Oude Redschuur, Rijnmond 200 in Katwijk aan Zee, the home of Natuurcentrum Katwijk and Coast Busters. The doors open on Friday afternoon, May 22, at 2:00 PM. After a short presentation, staff and volunteers from Naturalis, Stichting Anemoon, and Natuurcentrum Katwijk will take participants to the beach to talk about the nature there. After all, what you find on the beach can teach you all sorts of things about marine life.

After an hour of beachcombing, it is time to return to De Oude Redschuur, where there is time to chat, discuss special finds, obtain further information, and view the exhibitions by Coast Busters (Plastic Avengers) and Natuurcentrum Katwijk.
