Harvest festivals are celebrated all around the world. Examples include the Chinese Moon Festival, Thanksgiving in the United States and Canada, Erntedankfest in Germany, Shavuot in Israel, and Fiesta de la Vendimia in Argentina, which celebrate the grain harvest, grape harvest and other harvests.
Long description: Harvest festivals mark the end of the harvest season and are celebrated with meals, parades, dance and symbols that represent the harvest and the cycle of life, such as bread, fruit and lights.
