Started in 1994 as an initiative of one artist, the Art Route has now become one of the largest cultural events in Leiden.
Museum De Lakenhal offers a platform for visual arts in all shapes and sizes with the Art Route: from painting to ceramics, from photography to contemporary design, from jewelry to performances. A look behind the scenes of the artist, a good conversation and the opportunity to buy art are the ingredients.
