Exhibition Sam Taylor-Johnson - Sigh
The BBC Concert Orchestra plays music without instruments in a video installation. Specially written by British composer Anne Dudley.
In the video installation 'Sigh' you see musicians in their everyday clothes making music without an instrument. The conductor is silent but does make a sound in the form of a sigh. The rest of the sound comes from the orchestra, but you see musicians without instruments. They are in their everyday outfits and passionately playing their imaginary instruments as if they were mimes.
