Tevana feat. Marina Paje & Arturo Ramon - Flamenco
Tevana means "garden of pleasure" and "playground" in the ancient Indian language Sanskrit. The name captures the essence of the musical encounter between Ingvo Clauder and Claudio Spieler: endless enthusiasm and a fresh spontaneity in their music-making.
The world jazz duo Tevana has invited the internationally sought-after flamenco dancer Marina Paje from Barcelona and the renowned flamenco guitarist Arturo Ramón for an adventurous collaboration. Together they create an enchanting and innovative blend of world music and modern flamenco. Powerful grooves, groundbreaking dance, and colorful soundscapes are some of the quartet's hallmarks. They bring together tradition and innovation in a wide variety of styles, such as South Indian music, Western classical music, jazz, and flamenco. Marina Paje's choreographies further push the boundaries of flamenco dance. Piano, guitar, dance, and percussion combine for virtuoso improvisations. Unique and very exciting!
