Chris Hinze played his last major tour in 2023. He now plays his intimate soothing music with Ton Akkermans on Saturday night may 18th at the Sufi Temple in Katwijk, where you can enjoy lying down. The gentlemen already played a sold-out show at the atmospheric temple in the dunes in Katwijk aan zee last year.
Chris Hinze is a flautist, producer, composer and world traveller. A musician with more than 80 CDs to his name. Once started as a jazz pianist, Chris studied
at the conservatory in The Hague and won a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Hinze has won several awards, including the Beethoven Award and the Prix d'Italia. He also received 3 Edisons. In recent years, he has given multimedia concerts created from his many travels.

Ton Akkermans is a singing bowls, gongs and bells specialist. Among other things, Akkermans plays the large plate gong, a mix of tamtam and gong/sound pipes, the longest of which is almost 2 metres long. Combined with bells, cymbals, triangles and phosphor bronze and sound bars. All these instruments were hand-forged by himself.
