In November and December, the exhibition Heerlijk aan de Oude Rijn can be admired at Leiden Central Library.
This exhibition focuses, among other things, on the tow canal, castles and country estates along the Oude Rijn (from Utrecht to Katwijk) during the Wig Period, inspired by a book written on this subject.
A presentation will also take place, including a lecture and a performance by a folk group, on Saturday, 13 December.
The book is available for purchase, among other places, at VVV Leiden.
