Maritime Market and Braderie in Katwijk's typical town centre on King's Day!
On Saturday 27 April, a Maritime Market will be organised in Katwijk aan Zee on the occasion of King's Day. It will take place on the Prins Hendrikkanaal canal, which as usual will again be full of historic tugboats, fair boats and pushers, which will be pleasantly illuminated at night.
Old ship and stationary engines will be running on the quay, and there will also be a show of vintage trucks. At the market itself, many old crafts will be on display, and you can find great bargains at the connecting market fair. There will be several performances by well-known Shanty choirs and a varied music programme on the square in front of the Parledam.
The kids are also catered for, including an ice-skating rink and the chance to sail dirigible boats on the pond.
