CORPUS Congress Centre is part of the educational attraction known as CORPUS ‘journey through the human body’, which has attracted over 1.5 million visitors since March 2008. Together with the adjacent four-star hotel Hilton Garden Inn Leiden, it is part of a big conference site.

The rooms in CORPUS Congress Centre are high and spacious and have an industrial feel. Its flagship is the big conference hall (540 people). This hall has natural daylight, but can also be darkened. By means of sliding partitions, this big hall can also be partitioned into a hall for 300 visitors, creating 4 extra breakout halls. This increases the total availability for sub-sessions to 10 rooms. Fairs and poster sessions during gatherings are possible in the lounge. In addition, this adjacent lounge is also available as ‘prefunction area’ for registration, networking and catering. The bar and the south-facing patio are viable options for a fun conclusion of a meeting.

The four smaller rooms can be divided or joined by means of soundproofed partition walls. For the purpose of business presentations or fairs, special objects can be transported inside through the roof. On the top floor, there is a penthouse with a grand view facing the coastline. This room has a bar and can be used as a location for a reception, informal drinks or a sit-down dinner.

Amongst the public at large, CORPUS is famous for its ‘journey through the human body’, an attraction which provides a unique opportunity to take a peek inside the human body, encouraging them to embrace a healthier lifestyle. The ‘journey through the human body’ provides an inspiring combination of education and entertainment and can serve as partner programme or as a special addition to a conference.

CORPUS is situated at an advantageous location at the edge of the Bio Science Park, at 3 kilometres from Leiden Central Station. It is situated right to the exit off the A44 (exit 8 Leiden), the motorway which connects Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport to the city centre of The Hague. Corpus is also accessible by public transport. There are two charging stations for electrical cars. The Congress Centre is Green Key (Gold) certified.
