Painting by the sea- ‘Katwijk En Plein Air’. This annual event is the inheritor of the Katwijk Art Association, originally founded in 1908. It was founded by the members of the artists’ colony present at the time in Katwijk
Revived early this century the event of painters working outdoors occurs annually during a week at the end of June or the start of July. The following exhibition shows the results of the about 15 painters during the month of July till the end of September.
