Café Caat
Café Caat, the new cultural hub of Leiden. Enjoy stand-up comedy, a live podcast or debate, a lecture by a local scientist and live music.
The foyer next to the Grote Zaal in the Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden has been renamed Café Caat. Named after the Sint-Catharina gasthuis that used to be on this spot. The gasthuis of that time is our inspiration for the new Café Caat: a vibrant, accessible meeting place where we give the voice of the city a stage, a place where you feel good and where there is plenty to do for everyone!
You can enjoy stand-up comedy here, follow a lecture by a local scientist, attend a live podcast or debate, or even organise your own event. The café offers a nice place for a nice drink with the possibility of live music. We are happy to think along with you about the possibilities.
Café Caat will also become a place for co-creation with partners from the city, a new place where enriching experiences can take place.
