Atlantikwall Bunkerday Katwijk

Along the entire length of Katwijk Boulevard there was a tank wall as part of the Atlantic Wall during World War II. The DUNAatelier is located next to a piece of the hidden tank wall. The entire monument consists of various elements that were set up in Katwijk as a line of defence from the sea. Such as an exploded sea mine, Rommelasperges, tetrahedrons, asparagus blocks and a piece of tank wall.

In the adjacent DUNAatelier, there is a small exhibition on wartime Katwijk where the short film ‘The hidden border’ is shown, which gives an interesting introduction to the Atlantic Wall.
