In Katwijk, you're also in the right place for a day at the market. Discover the maritime heritage of Katwijk aan Zee at the Maritime Market or visit the flea market in Rijnsburg.
Orange parties
King's Day in the Region promises vibrant Orange parties! This year, the well-known 'King's Party' is back on the agenda at Lammermarkt in Leiden, featuring a wide variety of artists. And on Hofdijck in Oegstgeest, there are performances you won't want to miss.
In Katwijk aan Zee, the boulevard transforms into a musical spectacle during the 5-day music festival 'House of Orange.' Local and international talents showcase their best, with lively live performances. Don't miss out on these festive occasions and celebrate King's Day in style!

There are plenty of things for kids to do on Kingsday. Embark on an adventure with your team in Voorschoten during the 'Orange Expedition', a fun event with activities such as shuffleboard, bubble football, relay races, and more.
In Katwijk aan Zee, the stage is taken over by the impressive Warmond Youth Circus Atleta, and at the Andreasplein, you can enjoy an impressive show by DC Dance.
The children's games in Leiden have the theme 'Farm' this year, so put on your best farmer outfit and join in on numerous activities.
Friendly competition
Children aged 6 to 10 and 11 to 15 in Leiden can compete for 'The Golden Cap' by playing acoustic music on the street.
